What Could Be More Beautiful or Perfect? (Acts 20:35)
We would like to share the joy we experienced while providing school supplies and support to needy families—all made possible through the funds you donated for them.
Our main focus was on widowed mothers who attend our gatherings for women, as well as single, large, or abandoned mothers—those who, though their husbands are still alive, live as if they were widows. Each family was chosen with care and prayer. We took time to get to know every household personally. Some received school supplies, others clothing and shoes for their children—and in some cases, both.
For all of these families, the help came as a complete surprise. It brought many tears of gratitude! Some children, when trying on their new clothes, jumped and spun around with joy. We ourselves were moved to tears, seeing how those who have so little can value every act of kindness so deeply.
Amid their words of thanks, we again and again bore witness to the love of the Lord, saying:
“God loves you and your children. He promises to be a Father to all who turn to Him—and He cares especially for widows and orphans. The Bible says so.”
For the mothers—many of whom work two jobs just to meet the basic needs of their families—this help was a true miracle! They had been forced to choose between buying their children school clothes or buying food, which had run out. And then the Lord, through His people, solved their problem!
Glory be to Him!
And may He richly bless all of you for your sincere compassion and care for these families.
May the fullness of God’s blessings come upon your homes!
