During our recent visit with blind and visually impaired children, we spent much time reflecting together — on the choice between good and evil, the purity of heart and the leprosy of sin, the path of God that leads to eternal life, and the crooked roads that lead to destruction.
We told the children, “Let the Bible and sincere prayer be your guide — your ‘measuring stick,’ dear ones. We want so much for you to grow into honorable people and for each of you to invite Jesus into your heart. But the choice is yours…”
The children sat quietly, listening attentively, lost in thought. At every visit, our prayer is that they would learn to hear God’s voice and follow Him. May the Lord richly bless all who pray with us and care for the precious souls of these visually impaired children.
