This year, we were able to help needy individuals purchase fuel to heat their homes. Due to a shortage of funds, the amount of assistance provided was more modest than in 2024, and we were unable to secure additional financing. Nevertheless, with God’s help, the project was carried out in nine countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine.
Letter of Gratitude
Dear friends, greetings to you. My name is Natia Tinikashvili, I am 32 years old. I live in the village of Ortasheni in the Gori district of Georgia. I am a mother of two minor children.
I was born and raised in an unstable family — my father often drank, and our family constantly faced financial hardship. From a young age, I worked in difficult jobs to help my parents.
In 2019, I got married, and a year later my first child was born. I was overjoyed. My husband worked a low-paying job, and we barely made ends meet. In 2021, I became pregnant with my second child. After the birth, my husband left us and went to another woman.
Now I live in very difficult circumstances: I am caring for two small children and my sick mother. I cannot work because the children need constant supervision. Our daily life has become a nightmare. There are many moments when we have absolutely nothing to eat. It is very hard for us to meet even basic needs, not to mention the cost of heating.
I prayed many times, asking God to have mercy on our family and give us the ability to stay warm through the winter.
And during this difficult time, God’s people came to us and brought firewood. We were all so happy — now I no longer need to fear that our home will be cold this winter. How good it is that there are kind people on this earth. I believe that everything will be all right.
