This year it was especially difficult to provide assistance to needy families and supply them with potatoes due to a shortage of funds. The amount of support was smaller than in 2024, and unfortunately, we were unable to raise additional resources for the project. Nevertheless, by God’s mercy, the project was still carried out in five countries — Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.
Letters We Receive
Potatoes in our region are considered “second bread” — an essential product for every family. Many things can be managed without, but if a home has potatoes, the family can get through.
This is why we deeply value the opportunity to provide this staple to those who struggle to purchase it on their own. Our priority is to care for people with disabilities, especially those who are bedridden or live alone. They live extremely modest lives and often have to choose between buying medication or buying essential food.
When our brothers knock on each of these doors and bring in bags of high-quality potatoes, people with disabilities always express their gratitude through tears, repeating every kind word they know… Now they can face the coming winter with peace. For them, this care is a powerful testimony of God’s love! Sometimes words aren’t even needed — the deed speaks for itself.
Widows and single mothers — including those raising children with disabilities — are also deeply thankful for the potatoes. Understanding their financial and everyday difficulties, we always keep these families in our hearts. Praise the Lord for His great commission and the wonderful opportunity to do good and share the Gospel with those in need!
May God bless everyone whose left hand does not know what the right hand is doing — those who give sincerely and generously for the glory of Jesus Christ!
