The summer with warm days and warm nights is behind us, but fall is approaching with rain and wind storms, and in many countries of former Soviet Union – freezing temperatures and snow. We are receiving requests for help in a project called “Warmth for the widow”. Due to financial hardships in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Nagorno-Karabakh, widows and low income families can’t afford heat for the winter. Many families have small children. A family with small children will typically need $300 to purchase wood and coal for one winter. Our goal is to not only bring warmth into their homes, but to also warm up their hearts for Jesus.
