On September 1, about 200 children were gathered in Stepanakert from all regions of the Republic (mostly from non-Christian homes) for a summer Christian camp. Unfortunately, school backpacks were not purchased due to lack of funds, but small gifts with school supplies were given instead.
Camp counselors met together that same day and came up with a future plan to work with these kids. The administration asked parents to allow their children to attend future events year-round. Every Saturday, the church sends youth to four different cities to gather non-Christian children for Sunday school events from 12-5pm. Such events require financial support to pay for electricity in a building, provide food and small birthday gifts for these children.
Please pray about the children’s ministry in Nagorno-Karabakh.
