Even in the Old Testament times a tradition of special treatment for widows arose, which was then the personification of defenselessness in the face of the difficulties faced by people in life. In our time, they (widows, widowers and abandoned wives) are also socially unprotected people. Therefore, we aim to provide them with both spiritual and material support. Material assistance is expressed in the acquisition of food, clothing, school supplies for children, fuel in the winter, as well as providing one-time financial assistance for the appointment and organization of the necessary assistance. Spiritual care is expressed in carrying out communications for widows, congratulating them on their birthday.
